Payments for TVET College Students November 2023

On the 2nd of November 2023, NSFAS has  reported that they have successfully disbursed allowances to 143,423 beneficiaries at TVET colleges for the month of October 2023, with a total amount of R681,051,078.

Payment for University Students November 2023

The organisation further indicated that, a total of 314,365 University students have received payments, amounting to a sum of R511,182,438 Million . This included tuition payments totaling R1,602,289,873, Allowances paid via
institutions of R1,073 197 301.

NSFAS Working Closely with Institutions

The scheme has also reported that they are working closely will all institutions to implement the reforms that are brought by the implementation of the direct payment solution. This will ensure that allowances are paid to students on time. Consultations all institutions will also continue in preparation for the academic year 2024.
